Greetings from the air! Gauthier and I are flying home from a little over a week traveling in Nova Scotia and sharing songs with our friends at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival. Thank you to all the new friends we made on the road in Canada for making us feel so welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing Men of the Deeps, a male choral ensemble composed of former coal miners from Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. I fell in love with each and every one of those guys. Y'all gotta check them out.
August will be a slow month, road-wise, for me. I'll be taking a few weeks off to gladly deal with some medical stuff and rest up before we hit the road HARD from September until the end of the year! In case you haven't heard, we just announced tour dates in The Netherlands and UK.
Things are really, really starting to pick up steam around the Boomerang Town release. The artwork has been completed and it is STUNNING. Several music videos are in production and/or have been finished and I am SO EXCITED for y'all to see them.
I've set an ambitious goal to not only have a music video made for every song on the record -- but have every video made by a fellow musician/songwriter.
