Welcome to all the new friends I made in Florida last week! Gauthier and I have made our way all the way down to Key West where we ate a "traditional" Thanksgiving dinner last night at an untraditional spot: the legendary Lah Te Da drag bar on Duval Street! We're resting up here and tightening up songs. We'll be going into the studio in two weeks to make the next Gauthier record.
Tour Corner: Our last live show of 2021 will be at Eddie's Attic in Decatur, GA. It's one of our favorite venues and is dangerously close to great Thai food and a lot of pinball machines. Join us in person on December 3rd! We'll also be keeping Sundays with Mary going live on FB and YT on November 28th and December 5th.
Music Corner: I released a cover video of Townes Van Zandt's "Snowin' on Raton" in the Folk N' Roll Fan Club on Patreon. I also included a blog-type post about how this song has influenced my songwriting and what it was like to apply the lessons I've learned from my vocal coach to this song.
