November 2022 Newsletter | News from The Netherlands
Greetings from the Netherlands! Mary and I will be here through the weekend and then we're off to play a run of shows in the UK for the rest of the month. If you're in the area, we hope to see you out... all the details are below.
In Utrecht I was absolutely blown by seeing folks in Jaimee Harris shirts...in The Netherlands! Wow! I also had the fabulous opportunity to meet some of my Dutch Patreon supporters and thank them in person for helping me make this new record happen.
Speaking of Patreon, I've been sharing exclusive demos of songs from the upcoming record and tons of behind the scenes content with the Folk N' Roll Fan Club. I just shared another clip from an upcoming music video with the FnR Fan Club today. If you're not already involved, want to access exclusive content from Boomerang Town, vote for your favorite merch designs, suggest songs for me to cover, and receive a discount code for all merch, join us on Patreon!
Huge thank you to every single one of you who pre-ordered Boomerang Town and shared the "Missing Someone" music video. I feel so supported entering this next phase of my musical career. Thank you for making it possible.
Love,
Jaimee

"Jaimee Harris has been making waves with her emotive, stirringly honest songwriting that walks the often thin line between folk and country. Whatever you want to call it, it rides on the smooth instrument of Harris’s vocals and her courageous storytelling lyricism." — Kim Ruehl, Folk Alley
“Missing Someone” Song of the Week on Country Queer
Huge thanks to my friends (and early believers) at Country Queer for making "Missing Someone" song of the week! It's an honor to be included in such a great batch of songs. Check out the song here and the Q&A here.
I made a Spotify playlist of the songs that either lyrically or sonically inspired "Missing Someone." You can listen here.
"The album is an impressive step forward, showcasing Harris’s knack for storytelling through an arc about breaking free from destructive patterns.”
— Christopher Treacy, Country Queer
"Over the past few years, Texas-bred singer-songwriter Jaimee Harris has been making waves with her emotive, stirringly honest songwriting that walks the often thin line between folk and country.
