women in recovery tulsa ok

Hello Friends,

Whoa. Last month was absolutely insane. Here's the recap: I released my first music video, sang on the Ryman stage for the first time (thank you, Shemekia Copeland), learned some new harmony parts from Pam Tillis at The Opry, played our first ever Old Settler's Music Festival, celebrated record store day at Banana Records (which has the largest collection of vinyl in the world), had five wisdom teeth removed, and spent a weekend in Tulsa celebrating the 6th year of the Woody Guthrie Center.

April also introduced me to two incredible organizations: The Helping Hand Home for Children (Austin, Texas) and Women in Recovery (Tulsa, OK). I was moved to tears by discovering the work of these incredible organizations.

Helping Hand Home for Children (Austin, TX): Helping Hand Home for Children is the oldest continuously operating residential childcare agency in Travis County. Helping Hand provides a safe haven for children healing from physical, emotional and sexual abuse, neglect, or abandonment. They provide education services through a charter school, individual therapy, and so much more to these incredible children. I was honored to be a part of a fundraising effort for the Helping Home for Children in April and was so moved by the stories shared on the stage. Please, please check out their website to find out more about what they're doing and how you can make a difference in a child's life.

Thank you so much for your continued support. Because you come out to the live shows and buy merch, I'm able to travel the world and discover great organizations like Helping Hand Home and Women in Recovery. For that, I am forever grateful.

I've got some new dates coming your way - but they're not quite ready to be announced yet. So, keep an eye on our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to be the first to know! This month, I'll be traveling to Wisconsin, Michigan, and Georgia before heading back to Texas for shows in Houston and Austin with Mary Gauthier! I'll also be hanging out, sweating profusely, and crashing campsites with unsolicited harmony parts at the Kerrville Folk Festival. So, watch out for that, too.

I hope things are great wherever you are this month! You can always reply to this e-mail to let me know how things are going in your world. I love hearing from you guys.

Love,
Jaimee
