Yesterday, Mary and I walked to the Diana Nyad plaque on Smathers Beach to soak up some inspiration. If you've been following me on socials, you know that I've been captivated and inspired by Diana's story over the last three months. She successfully swam from Cuba to Key West on her fifth attempt at 64 years of age. Her story of persistence, dedication, and teamwork has inspired me greatly. I believe there's a reason I found my way to her story at this particular time in my life, making this particular record.
This has been a great month for co-writes. My friend Pat Byrne released our co-write and duet single "Losing Heart" today. Sam Williams played our co-write "Can't Fool Your Own Blood" on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
In other news, I'll be back in the studio next week working on my second full-length record. You can follow along by joining the Folk N' Roll Fan Club.
